CA&I can shop IKEA for you. Please note that shopping appointments are scheduled within 2-3 business days from receipt of your order and confirmation of stock availability. For GA orders CA&I shops on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. For SC orders CA&I shops on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month and in NC CA&I shops on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Cancellation/Correction Policy For IKEA® Orders
- Customer may cancel any part or all of an order at anytime up to 24 hours prior to CA&I IKEA® trip date with no cancelation fee. Customer should email CA&I at service@caiatl.com with the customer order number and the word “Cancellation” in the subject line. CA&I will respond to confirm the customer’s cancellation, and payment will be refunded in the same manner in which it was received within 7 days.
- If customer cancels an order after the 24 hour cancellation window, a late cancelation fee of 15% of the shipping total will be charged. The remainder of the purchase total will be refunded in the same manner in which it was received within 7 days.
- If customer chooses to cancel an order after it has been shipped the shipping fee, which is nonrefundable once an order has shipped, will be forfeited. In addition, a restocking fee will be assessed at 10% times the cost of the products ordered. The remaining balance will be refunded in the same manner in which it was received within 7 days.
- In the event a customer needs to make a correction or adjustment to an order, CA&I must be notified at service@caiatl.com within 24 hours of the next scheduled trip to IKEA®. If CA&I does not receive the change request and an order ships, customer will be held liable for all applicable shipping and restocking fees for all items shipped.
Home Delivery Policy
If a customer requests home delivery and any part of an order is out-of-stock, all shipped merchandise will be held in storage by CA&I until the backordered merchandise has shipped. A customer may request CA&I to deliver a partial order before the remaining backordered items have shipped, however a re-delivery fee equal to half the original home delivery fee will be assessed for an additional delivery of backordered products. If customer chooses a partial delivery and desires to pick up the backordered merchandise from the CA&I storage, this may be done at no extra charge. Customers may cancel a scheduled home delivery within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery appointment time at no charge. Any cancelations after the 24 hour period will be assessed a $20 cancelation fee. Any scheduled delivery that is unable to be made due to the unavailability of the customer at the scheduled time will result in a redelivery fee equal to the original delivery fee.
Furniture Assembly Policy
Customers requesting furniture assembly are scheduled on a first come first confirmed basis. CA&I offers’ our free ninety (90) day assembly warranty that will cover services performed by CA&I only.
CA&I technicians will inspect all products for damages and missing parts prior to assembly and will notify customer immediately. CA&I does not extend a warranty to items previously assembled by CA&I outside of the free ninety (90) day from date of completed service for any item that has been moved, dismantled or discovered to be in an “AS IS” condition.
CA&I will help with identifying missing or damaged parts and aid only in directing customers on how to get those parts and are under no obligation to gather such for the customer. Technicians are not required to move furniture into or out of spaces to perform assembly tasks and cartons and waste will be stacked neatly for disposal by the customer.
Any product assembly or installation service performed by CA&I will be done accordance with the manufacturer specified guidelines and any augmentations to the manufactures original design will void both manufacturer and CA&I warranties.
A revisit fee of $25.00 plus any travel fees if applicable will apply if CA&I is requested to make a return visit to complete a previously scheduled activity due to missing or damaged parts or customer unavailability.
CA&I will offer a complete refund of the MSRP retail or sale price plus taxes for items discovered to have been damaged as a result of negligence on the part of technicians of CA&I only and will be mailed by check within 10 business days of settling investigation.
Travel fees apply to a scheduled assembly service requested outside of a 30 mile radius of an IKEA store served by CA&I at the rate $0.95 per mile round trip. (Example: Mileage from IKEA Atlanta to address of service is 128 miles round trip. CA&I will deduct 30 miles with extra fee attached to the balance of 98 miles X $0.95 totaling $93.10 in addition to assembly fees.)
